Artist Vlog: Life of An Artist + Solo Show Preparation
I decided to start making vlog as a documentation of my art and life. I'm excited about it and I hope you too.
The first vlog isn't the most interesting vlog to watch, to be honest. It's a combination of short video clips of me painting, varnishing, framing, show installation and other regular days of my life as an artist. Those days might not be very exciting but there's no perfect timing to start making vlog for my channel, so I just went straight filming it that morning while I was having the courage.
And I'm pleased to announce that my very first Solo Exhibition in coworkHERS (411 Congress St., Portland, Maine) are running from now until October 20, 2018. There're 26 paintings and drawings from these past years showing in the exhibition. As you heard in the vlog, we just have all the works installed in the gallery. They looks awesome when hanging on the wall together. I'm so excited with them and the show.
If you're living or visiting somewhere near Portland, Maine, please join us at the opening on August 3 (Friday) from 5pm to 9pm. If this date don't work for you, we have another two openings on September 7 and October 5, 5pm to 9pm, in conjunction with Portland First Friday Art Walk.
We can also do a private showing at your preferred time. Just email me to firstname.lastname@example.org for appointment.
I really hope to see you at the opening and I'm ready answer any of your question. You can RVSP at my event page for my reference but it's not necessary. Please don't hesitate to email me if you'd like see the works other than the opening day or ask me any question in purchasing the paintings.
Thank you for joining me today and I'll see you in the next one!
p.s. All the works showing in the exhibition are also available to purchase in my online shop.
